How we launched bartable.
San Francisco’s Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART), the 5th most used rail transit system in the United States, reached out to us to increase the number of opt-in subscribers to their newsletter and drive more traffic to their website.
After the kickoff call, we inspected every aspect of their ridership acquisition funnel. The initial audit led us to a multi-channel digital media marketing strategy to leverage a travel sweepstakes giveaway campaign.
We built out campaigns across several relevant audiences in Display, Search, Facebook and Gmail along with retargeting to anyone who came to the site from any channel.
During the campaign, BARTable saw record traffic at more than 83,000 users and over 111,000 sessions. Site traffic rose 175% over the previous month. BARTable received 50,000 new individuals signed up for their newsletter, and over 9 million ad impressions over a few weeks.
