PRESIDENT & CEO
As a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism (and still a member of Investigative Reporters & Editors), he has a wealth of knowledge about advertising and content creation. His advertising experience includes building promotional campaigns for companies such as Coca-Cola, Nabisco, Hallmark and spearheading ad campaigns that won Book of the Year for Excellence and Innovation in Marketing to being an early adopter of paid search. He has 25 years of digital marketing experience (which is pretty much “all” … he even participated in the first digital newspaper in college). He has worked on more than 2,000 digital media campaigns. In his spare time, he enjoys writing, hiking and spending as much time as possible with his two children. He’s traversed the Trans-Catalina Trail, covered 120 miles of the John Muir Trail and climbed Mount Whitney. Stephen also enjoys watching, talking and writing about the NBA.

Since 2002, Josh has been an integral part of the Zero Company team. Managing more than $4 million in annual ad spend, he’s an expert in Google, Bing, Facebook and Programmatic. He loves helping a business grow into their potential and believes that PPC is part science and part art and enjoys creating strategies that help businesses continue to grow and expand through the years. When he’s not managing accounts or regaling us with tales about his three dogs, you can find him working as a Little League umpire or watching the Dodgers blow another shot at the World Championship. He’s also a snorkeling and scuba enthusiast, not afraid to catch giant moths that frighten his co-workers (ok, just Tiffany), and has rarely watched a movie he didn’t enjoy.

Michele’s been working in digital marketing since the days when Overture and Yahoo ruled the roost, and Google was just a tiny little startup. As our sales lead, she loves learning about a client’s journey, and the highs and lows of running their business. In fact, her favorite podcast is “How I Built This.” Michele, a Portland State grad, is the quintessential Portlandian, friendly, creative, a foodie and earth-conscious. She loves yoga and basking in the great outdoors, including biking to work, hiking, swimming and stand-up paddleboarding.
As our resident Baby Boomer, David brings a wealth of knowledge of website design and programming that dates back to the days when “dial up” meant you literally placed a rotary phone into a modem. In fact, his first computer was a Wang word processing system with an amazing 4K of ram and a cassette drive. In his spare time, you’ll find him on stage performing in a wide variety of plays and musicals, including roles in The 39 Steps, Noises Off and A Christmas Carol.
Mike is our resident enterprise marketing crackerjack, a rising star on our Account Executive team and a leathered business leader and ROI guru in the Growth group. Mike is your #nononsense, #youwantfrieswiththat inspirational servant leader and business expert in every sense of the term.
A #justdoit, lead-by-example, native Angeleno (rare in the 80s) and USC Trojan Football fanatics (#FightON) – his determination, business savvy and client-empathetic mindset show up in everything he does, from volunteering in a small Panamanian fishing village to help the youth live the best life ever to competing in triathlons for fun, and driving growth, efficiency and brand management for Zero Company Performance Marketing and our clients. His industry experience includes a deep understanding of Financial Services, including Investment Management, Business Media, SaaS (Software-as-a-Service), IT Consulting and IT Service Management including Cloud, Cybersecurity and Work Collaboration and Higher Education and his marketing experience spans over 2 decades with many of those years at the helm of global teams.

As PPC and SEO management specialist, Gabe enjoys researching and applying strategies that help companies get more leads, as well as building out quality PPC accounts with solid keyword research. As we’ve discovered, there’s literally no food that Gabe won’t eat, he loves everything from lengua tacos to kare-kare to New York-style pizza. He’s also an expert in music production, a gourmet cook, is always up for a road trip, and enjoys college basketball, particularly watching his alma mater, the Old Dominion University Monarchs. For some reason we don’t quite understand, he’s also a Giants fan, but live and let live.

Paul puts his master’s degree in marketing research to use each day at Zero Company, and he enjoys the challenge of building, analyzing and optimizing PPC and social media campaigns for his clients and believes that providing services for clients from a wide range of industries makes coming to work an interesting experience. Not only has he earned Google Ads Search and Google Ads Measurement Certification, but he’s also fluent in three languages. When’s not busy with client accounts, Paul enjoys spending time supporting the Philadelphia Eagles and the L.A. Lakers, as well as reading, hiking, skating or perhaps finding the world’s best carne asada tacos.
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Kevan Zameni puts his bachelor’s in business administration and his many Google certifications to work daily, helping clients maximize their ad spend and cultivate the most relevant audiences for advertising. He enjoys diving deep into data analysis and the satisfaction that comes from “helping passionate people grow their businesses.” When he’s not managing client accounts or munching on tacos or sushi, you’ll likely find him in the great outdoors, kayaking, surfing or paddleboarding along the Southern California shoreline, hiking through the local wilderness or perhaps honing his Krav Maga and MMA skills.
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Fred Navas is a digital marketing strategy expert, specializing in PPC, SEO and social media marketing. He enjoys identifying new opportunities to grow each of his client’s businesses and increasing engagement across social media platforms, including Facebook. Fred is fluent in Spanish, and when he’s not managing client accounts, he loves spending time with his family, watching his kids score a few goals at AYSO soccer games or tending to his goats and sheep.
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
As an experienced Account Executive, Anna serves as a trusted resource for her clients, seeking to demystify the complexities and jargon of online marketing. She loves seeing the results of her work in terms of increasing brand awareness, sales and customers for her clients. Anna has been working in the digital marketing agency world since 2015, and over the years she has worked with dozens of clients across a wide range of industries. Outside of marketing, she enjoys horseback riding, weightlifting and playing the classical guitar, as well as exploring our local parks and beaches.
Whether you need a website designed from scratch, a redesign or just a quick website fix, Jonathan can handle virtually any task you throw at him. Jonathan puts his degree in Information Technology to good use every day at Zero Company, and he has been an integral part of our team for nearly 10 years. He and his wife recently welcomed a baby boy, so that takes up a good portion of his free time, but he’s always up to watching some MMA or basketball.
CLIENT SERVICES MANAGER
Marissa has been a part of the Zero Company family for more than 17 years, when she was just a teenager and served as the beloved nanny to Tiffany’s two exuberant children. She now manages client accounts and keeps our office running smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, she and her firefighter husband are swing dance experts and fluent in American Sign Language, not to mention the parents to three adorable youngsters.
REPORTING & ANALYTICS SUPERVISOR
LEAD SEM ANALYST
While Jam is an expert in SEM, including Google Ads, Bing Ads, Programmatic and SEO, he actually spent two years at aeronautics school learning aircraft maintenance. Eventually, he switched gears and earned his degree in Computer Science and headed into the world of Digital Marketing. For Jam, the perfect day would include basketball, binge-watching Netflix (Breaking Bad, Narcos, Ozark, etc.) and a giant plate of pasta or perhaps fried chicken.

When it comes to SEO and content strategy, Mea puts her mathematics degree to good work supervising tasks such as competition analyses and deep dives into keyword research. In addition, she also handles research and development for social media advertising. On her days off, Mea enjoys hanging out at the beach or fishing, as well as watching just about any type of movie, from Forrest Gump to Spirited Away to Star Wars and beyond. She also loves Japanese and Filipino cuisine, especially sushi, sashimi and chicken adobo.

Mike divides his time between our office and his many adventures as a wedding photographer. For our projects, he always seems to find a unique vision that sparks our own creativity. When he’s not working, you’ll find him surfing, paddleboarding, snowboarding or traveling somewhere between the mountains and the sea.
KOALITY CONTROL MANAGER
As our “Koalaty” Control Officer, Zero overlooks every aspect of our operation, ensuring that our company consistently provides the highest quality services for each client. When she’s not looking over our shoulders and pushing us to be our best, she is studying all things digital marketing. She enjoys eucalyptus leaves, blogging about PPC and reminding people how she is not actually a bear, but a marsupial.

Eben is an international dog of mystery. A world traveler, Eben often can be found in the wilds of Yosemite or perhaps sunning himself atop a mountain in Telluride. In addition to his many PR tasks, you often can find him gliding through Dana Point Harbor on a stand-up paddleboard.
