Last year digital advertising grew 14.4%, according to Magna, which outpaced previous forcasts for the year.

Total internet spending is predicted to hit $36.25 billion in 2013. Television spend is still about double that.

Digital advertising is pulling budgets previously spent in newspapers and magazines that are increasingly losing circulation. Newspaper advertising is predicted to decline by 8% and magazines by 3.3% this year.

These print publications have been painfully trying to make the transition to digital the past decated. Hope has finally come in the past couple years from the growing tablet market.
